Water well screens, also recognized as Johnson screens, wedge wire
screens, wire wrapped well screens, rod based well screens,
continuous slot water well screens, v-shaped wire well screens,
screen pipe, or stainless steel strainer, are essential components
for well systems.
Introduction
Our water well screens are meticulously crafted by wrapping v - or
wedge - shaped wire around an internal arrangement of longitudinal
support rods. Every intersection point of these wires is fusion
welded, ensuring robust structural integrity. The v - or wedge -
shaped profile wire spirals along the entire length of the support
rods, forming continuous slot openings. This unique design enables
water (or oil) to flow freely into the well in abundant amounts
while effectively preventing most sand and gravel from entering,
thus safeguarding the well's performance and longevity.
